Rude and Dangerous - Premier KIA
Approximately 7 months ago my wife purchased a used 2013 KIA optima which we believed was safety checked. Last night she was traveling on I-91 when her rear driver side tire exploded causing her to serve off the highway.
Thankfully Kimberly did not get injured but some minor damage was done to the vehicle. We towed the vehicle to a local Town Fair tire to have it repaired and on inspection we found that the rim had been welded and was not holding the proper amount of air.
As it was explained to me by the technician that the tire exploded due to overheating from improper tire pressure. I contacted your service department and was told they do not warranted tires or rims. To my dismay I tried to explain the situation and called the sales manager of the used car department.
After my detailed explanation of the occurrence I politely asked what can be done. I was once again told there was nothing I could do about and I was just threatening him to get something for nothing.
